Certificate in Digital Applications (CiDA) - 2 hours per week
Unit 1: Using ICT (Word processing, Desk-top publishing, Use of Spreadsheets, Databases, Email, web authoring).
Unit 2 Multimedia (Web authoring, video and sounds, animation)
Coursework Assessment only by main project (Summative Project Brief, SPB) for each unit, each approximately 30 hours, allowing access to GCSE-equivalent grades
CiDA equivalent to 2 GCSEs
Diploma in Digital Application (DiDA) - 4 hours per week
Unit 1: Using ICT (Word processing, Desk-top publishing, Use of Spreadsheets, Databases, Email, web authoring). Main project (Summative Project Brief, SPB) for approximately 30 hours allowing access to GCSE-equivalent grades
Unit 2 Multimedia (Web authoring, video and sounds, animation)
