Welcome to G.C.A.S
G.C.A.S (Garforth Community Arts School) was established in October 2003 out of Garforth Academy's specialist arts status. We have one simple aim, and that is to provide access to high quality arts provision for as many people as possible.
G.C.A.S is based at Garforth Academy, Lidgett Lane Garforth, Leeds and operates on Saturday Mornings 8.45am - 12.45pm and Wednesday Evenings 4pm - 8.30pm (term time only). The classes are open to anyone wishing to join from across Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas.
All of the groups within GCAS work with professional artists who are Performers in their chosen field. We place a high emphasis on regular performances/recordings with each group. Garforth Jazz Rock band have already performed at over 100 gigs. You can see details of these and forthcoming events at the Jazz Rock Band website.

GARFORTH ARTS FESTIVAL 2010
Following on from the successes of our 2005 to 2009 Garforth Arts Festivals we are pleased to announce that we held a sixth festival in the Summer of 2010 and have booked outstanding acts for the festival.
